利用P群自交系实现我国温带玉米种质的创新

【摘要】 P群自交系在生产上与我国温带主要杂优群形成新的杂优模式,是我国玉米又一重要种质资源。本文研究认为,P群种质遗传基础丰富,对我国温带气候适应性好;与我国温带骨干系均表现出较强的杂种优势,是一个相对独立的新的杂优群:P群自交系具有多种抗源,其突出的抗逆性与我国温带骨干种质的高配合力结合可以实现对目前我国现有玉米种质的某些抗性进行改良;与我国温带骨干系相比,P群自交系更有利于热带、亚热带种质的有利产量基因和其它抗性基因在杂交种中的充分表达,从而有利于我们对这些基因的选择;研究还发现,P群自交系与热带种质Suwan-1具有较近的遗传基础,因此我们可以根据杂优群和杂优模式的原理将热带种质Suwan-1中有利基因持续渐渗到P群中去,最终通过P群种质实现利用热带、亚热带种质创新我国温带玉米种质。
【Abstract】 P germplasm lines, making new patterns with China major heterosis groups in practice, was an important part in China maize breeding germplasm. In our research, P germplasm lines had a good adaptation in China temperate region with a broad genetic base. The strong heterosis performance with China key lines made them a new relatively independent group. The prominent stress resistance of P germplasm lines could be used to improve China’s maize germplasm in some stress traits. P germplasm lines were advantageous on the expression of tropic-subtropical favorable genes in the hybrids compared with China temperate key lines, and made it easier to select. It was also found that P germplasm had the similar genetic base with Suwan-1 population. Thus in accordance with the principle of heterosis patterns, the favorable genes of tropical population Suwan-1 could be transgressed into P germplasm, and through which we could develop new temperate germplasm in China.
