锆石裂变径迹测年的影响因素

【摘要】 本文通过对锆石裂变迹径测年影响因素的研究发现,自发径迹密度大的锆石矿粒比密度小的需要的蚀刻时间短:铀含量高的锆石矿粒比铀含量低的白发径迹密度大,从裂变迹径测年原理上讲,铀含量高和年龄老都可以使自发径迹密度增大,但研究结果表明自发径迹密度与裂变迹径年龄没有一丝关系,它只受到铀含量的影响。而铀含量与裂变迹径年龄有较强的负相关。铀含量高的样品只能得到较低的裂变迹径年龄,所测的年龄范围也较窄,而铀含量低的样品能够得到较高的裂变迹径年龄,并且所测的年龄范围较宽。该结论对锆石裂变迹径测年方法具有重要的指导意义。

【Abstract】 Through the studying on the factors which have influences on the zircon fission track (FT) dating, it is found that the etching time of the mineral grain which has much higher densities of spontaneous FTs is much shorter than that which has much lower densities of spontaneous FTs. Zircon grains, which have higher concentration of uranium, have much higher densities of spontaneous FTs than those that have lower concentration of uranium. According to the principle of FT dating, the density of spontaneous FTs can be enlarged by both high content of uranium and old ages of the mineral, nevertheless, it is found that the density of spontaneous FTs which is influenced only by the content of uranium has nothing to do with the fission track ages, and the content of uranium has a negative correlation with the fission track ages. Only young ages can be obtained from samples which have much higher concentration of uranium, measured ranges of the FT ages are much narrower, and vice versa. This conclusion has important instructive meanings on the method of zircon fission track dating.
