新型光学结构材料——C_f/Al复合材料的组织与性能研究

【摘要】 碳纤维增强铝基复合材料(Cf/Al)具有高比强度、高比刚度和优异的物理性能,是优异的航空航天备选材料。本文以6061Al为基体,M40纤维为增强体,采用压力浸渗法制备了碳纤维增强铝基复合材料。结果表明,Cf/Al复合材料组织致密,纤维分布均匀;界面处仅有极少量界面反应物Al4C3的存在。弯曲强度为1400MPa以上。材料的纵向热膨胀系数为(0~2)×10-6℃-1,横向热膨胀系数为(17~20)×10-6℃-1,通过铺层等方法可对热膨胀系数设计。材料在14次-20~60℃冷热冲击后,纵向尺寸相对变化小于4×10-6,横向尺寸相对变化小于12×10-6,具有良好的尺寸稳定性。采用Cf/Al复合材料制备的空间遥感器镜筒结构完全满足使用要求,较之钛合金镜筒结构减重31.8%,说明Cf/Al复合材料是一种性能优异、应用价值高的新型光学结构材料。
【Abstract】 Carbon fibre reinforced aluminum matrix composites(Cf/Al)have been identified as potential candidate materials for application in optical structure.In this paper,M40 carbon fibres were used to reinforce 6061Al by pressure infiltration method.Cf/Al composite were well infiltrated with good fibre dispersion,and little reactants Al4C3 were observed at the C/Al interface.The bending strength of Cf/Al composite was over 1 400 MPa,while its coefficient of thermal expansion(CTE)in longitudinal and perpendicular direction were(0~2)×10-6/℃ and(17~20)×10-6/℃ respectively,and its thermal expansion properties could be optimized via ply design.Thermal cycling testing between 20 C and 150 C for 14 complete cycles revealed good dimensional stability of Cf/Al composite,while residual relative length change in longitudinal and perpendicular direction were less than 4×10-6 and 12×10-6,respectively.The drawtube of Cf/Al composite in space remote instrument fully met the application requirements,indicating that Cf/Al composite has wildly application in optical structure.
