白僵菌安全性及其作为微生物杀虫剂的评价

【Abstract】 This paper deals with safety test of B.bassiana both in Soviet Union and in China,Primarrly,a procedure for evluating hygine and toxicology of microbes was proposed.In laboratory experiments on varying species of animals infection-toxicological indices are determined;threshold dose of the biopreparation(or pure spore powders) and its pathogenic effects are established on the basis of observed pathogens. Observation indicates that the fungus B,bassiana can cause weakly allergenic reaction to worm-blooded animals and human when spores are inhaled, but they do not cause any toxicity by feeding. Spores of B,bassiana do not penetrate from lungs into other organs and are expelled from lungs 3-5 days.Either short term tests on deformity or long term tests on mutagenicity and carcinogenesis give negative results.Clinical, haematological and serological results are within normal range and revealed no fungal invasion.Risk of infection to mammalians seem unlikely.It is also observed harmless to fish,chicken,beneficial insects and natural enemies when used in fields. It has been established that the industrial strain of B,bassiana and insecticidal preparations produced on the basis of this pathogen are harmless in the epidemiological sense and of low toxicity,the author recomended using it in practice.
