【摘要】 <正>Most of the known Early Cretaceous enantiornithine birds have a sparrow-or starling-like size,much smaller than the contemporaneous basal birds such as Confuciusornis and omithurine birds such as Yixianornis.The small size is considered as an adaptation for flight in early avian evolution.The recently described Pengornis largely extends the size range of Early Cretaceous enantiornithines towards large size,and modifies our understanding on flight adaptation in early avian evolution.Here we report a new enantiornithine specimen PMOL-AB00032,based
