疏水氢氧化镁的制备及其在阻燃PVC中的应用

【摘要】 本文以油酸为改性剂用一步法合成了疏水氢氧化镁,用X射线衍射(XRD)、红外分析(FTIR)、扫描电镜(SEM)对疏水氢氧化镁进行了表征和分析,通过接触角、活化度来评价氢氧化镁的改性效果。将改性前后的氢氧化镁应用到阻燃PVC上,测试PVC的阻燃性能、力学性能和光学性能。结果表明:当油酸用量为7%时,疏水氢氧化镁的接触角最大值为106°,活化指数达到92%;阻燃性能和光学性能得到提高,力学性能没有恶化,疏水氢氧化镁与PVC基体的相容性和分散性得到提高。

【Abstract】 Hydrophobic magnesium hydroxide nanoparticles are prepared by surface modification method with oleic acid(OA) as surface modifier in this paper.Surface modification results were evaluated by the means of XRD,FTIR and SEM.The modified effects were evaluated by the water contact angle and activation index.Hydrophobic magnesium hydroxide was added into PVC,then the flame retardancy,mechanical properties and optical performance.The experimental results showed that when oleic acid was 7% by weight,the water contact angle reached 106°and activation index reached 92%;the flame-retarding properties,optical property and mechanical properties of the composite is enhanced.Consistency and dispersivity were improved after modification.
