【Abstract】 Relational storage for spatial data is a developmental trend in GIS field.In this paper,the advantages of spatial data and attribute data centralized stored in relational database are discussed,the characteristic of vector model of spatial data of two dimensions and the basic topological relationship of spatial geometric entity are analysed, the spatial data and attribute data centralized storage structure in relational database based on an example of ESRI shapefile is designed,the algorithm for obtaining the topological information in spatial geometric entity is provided. This algorithm can acquire some topological relationship of spatial geometric entity in applications.
