【Abstract】 Compression is efficient in reducing the redundancy of XML data.A new compression method is proposed. It can support twig queries as well as the classical path-queries through encoding the paths and storing the structure information alone.Designed according to the characteristics of the compressed XML data,the query processing algorithm is based on set operations.With low time complexity,this method can also save the memory needed in query processing.更多还原
