【Abstract】 XML is rapidly emerging the data format for information exchange and representation of the Internet era.As most business data is still stored in relational DBMS,the research of translation of data format between relational model and XML becomes an important direction in database community.In this paper,we propose an algorithm TKS for translating functional dependencies from relational model to XML.First,we present a method that converts the relation schema to XML schema using the Foreign Key and Path Translation Rules.Then the TKS algorithm translates functional dependencies from relational model to XML using the path mapping rules.We prove the soundness and complexity of the TKS algorithm.更多还原
