【Abstract】 Real world applications need the transformation from a series of related XML documents to relational database.In order to preserve the XML documents’ original integrity and consistency after this transformation,deriving functional dependencies of RDB from XML key constraints is indispensable.In this paper,according to XML tree model,the definition of key constraints and the hierarchical,semistructured characteristics of XML document itself,an algorithm is presented to derive functional dependencies of corresponding RDB by means of decomposing XML tree.This algorithm is not only independent of DTD or schema of XML documents,but also of the specific transformation rules from XML to RDB,so it has universality.更多还原
