【Abstract】 This paper presents a method to improve the performance of k-nearest neighbor collaborative filtering algorithm.Two concepts,user authority and item popularity are introduced.A user’s authority reflects the reliability and the stability of his ratings.An item’s popularity represents its acceptability.Due to the stability of user authority and item popularity,adding these two factors in the algorithm increases the accuracy of prediction of users’ ratings thus enhancing the performance of the whole algorithm.更多还原
