【Abstract】 KD-IRIS is a project designed for integrating heterogeneous information sources.By dividing the system into a wrapper level and a mediator level,KD-IRIS is both flexible and salable.With the front-end GUI of KD-IRIS,users are released from the difficult work of designing the integrated schema by procedural or declarative specifications.In KD-IRIS,information from local data sources is extracted and merged in advance,and stored in a central repository to satisfy the users’ requirement for high query performance.更多还原
