【Abstract】 In this paper,on main memory of an engineering database management system EDBMS/3 designed and implemented by CAD laboratory of the institute of the computing technology of Academia Sinica is discussed.Management of the system buffer and the table working area,reading and writing operations for the blocks in the disk make the I/O operations by the tables and tuples swapping decreased,therefore,the access efficiency of EDBMS/3 is increased.更多还原
