Tracheobronchopathia osteochondroplastica:A cause of chronic cough and dyspnea

【摘要】 <正>Tracheobronchopathia osteochondroplastica is an unusual condition characterized by submucosal nodules lining the lateral and anterior tracheal walls.The etiology is unknown so far.We report a case of a 29-year old male patient with prolonged cough and a history of exposure to varnish,misdiagnosed to have asthma before his admission.Taking together the computed tomography scanning,bronchoscopy and biopsy findings, the final diagnosis was tracheobronchopathia osteochondroplastica.Consequently,tracheobronchopathia osteochondroplastica should be considered in the differential diagnosis as a rare cause of persistent cough and dyspnea in clinic.To our knowledge,this represents the first case associating varnish and TO in a decorator.As symptoms of TO mimics that of asthma and chronic bronchitis.we更多还原
