Ce3+,Tb3+共掺BaYF5微晶玻璃光学特性研究

【摘要】 采用高温熔融法制备了一种新型的白光发光Ce3+,Tb3+共掺BaYF5微晶玻璃。测试了微晶玻璃的X射线衍射图谱(XRD)、激发光谱和发射光谱。X射线衍射图谱表明玻璃基质中析出BaYF5纳米晶相,并利用Scherrer公式计算得到BaYF5晶粒大小约为25 nm。在近紫外光(338nm)激发下,可以观察到蓝光(429nm)宽带发光,对应Ce3+的5d→2F5/2和5d→2F7/2能级跃迁;同时还观察到蓝光(483nm),绿光(542nm),橙光(582nm)和红光(620nm)发光,分别对应于Tb3+5D47F6,5D47F5,5D47F4,5D47F3能级跃迁;与玻璃相比,微晶玻璃的发光强度显著增强。通过调节Ce3+和Tb3+离子掺杂浓度,系统分析了Ce3+和Tb3+离子之间的能量传递。当Ce3+和Tb3+的摩尔掺杂浓度为2%和10%时,得到的微晶玻璃的色坐标为(0.27,0.29)。研究结果表明:Ce3+/Tb3+掺杂的BaYF5微晶玻璃是白光LED的一种潜在基质材料。

【Abstract】 A new Ce3+/Tb3+.Co-doped BaYF5 glass ceramics were prepared by high temperature melting. The X-ray diffraction spectrum,excitation spectrum and emission spectrum were measured.The X-ray diffraction spectrum indicated the existing of BaYF5 nanocrystalline phase in the glass matrix.Based on the Scherrer equation,the average size about 25 nm of BaYF5 nanocrystalline was calculated.The intense blue emission band(429nm) assigned to 5d→2F5/2 and 5d→2F7/2 transition of Ce3+ and blue emission(483nm),green emission(542nm),orange emission(582nm) and red emission(620nm) assigned to 5D47F6,5D47F5,5D47F4,5D47F3 transition of Tb3+ ions respectively are simultaneously observed at room temperature under 338nm excitation in the glass ceramics;The emission luminescence intensity increased significantly compared with the as-made glass.The energy transfer between Ce3+ and Tb3+ was analysised systematically by adjusting the doping density of Ce3+ and Tb3+ ions:When the molar concentration was 2%and 10%,the chromarisity coordinatc phorsphor is measured to be(0.27,0.29). The results of.the study indicate that:Ce3+ / Tb3+ co-doped BaYF5 glass ceramics was a potential white LED matrix material.
