用于白光LED的CaO-SiO2体系混晶荧光玻璃陶瓷的光学性质

【摘要】 具有体晶的发光玻璃陶瓷和LED芯片的直接蚀刻扣装构造白光,将会提高光的抽取效率、出光的均匀性,简化封装工艺、避免眩光,提高热稳定性,以及在开发面光源方面将发挥重要作用。我们利用CaO-SiO2二元体系中存在一个适合作为铕激活的绿光和红光基质共存相的特性,研究了一种不需添加外来晶核剂而具有体晶的发光玻璃陶瓷。发光玻璃陶瓷采用熔体冷却法制备。将粉体原料在还原气氛保护下,熔化至固液两相区(富硅液相L+晶相Ca2SiO4)淬冷,其中在固液两相区保温时间相对短的样品呈现黄绿色非透明态;保温时间相对较长的样品呈现黄绿色透明态。通过调节在固液两相区的保温时间可以调节玻璃陶瓷中的Ca2SiO4晶粒尺寸,从而可以控制玻璃陶瓷的透明状态。而以Ca2SiO4晶粒和SiO2晶粒为原始晶核,通过热处理析晶可以得到具有红光发射的Ca3SiO7共存发光晶体,从而可以实现绿、红双光的同时发射,配合蓝紫光LED芯片得到直接白光玻璃陶瓷。
【Abstract】 The combination of bulk-crystallized glass-ceramic phosphor with LED chip can increase light-extract efficiency,let light-distribution uniform,simplify encapsulation process,avoid glaring, increase thermal stability and play important role on developing plane light source.It was found that in the designed heating process,starting with raw powder material,a direct glass ceramics with Ca2SiO4:Eu2+ crystal was obtained through melt-quenching method in terms of a solid-liquid(SL) two-phase region of CaO-SiO2 binary phase diagram.The mean size of sphericalβ-Ca2SiO4 crystal and different optical properties were found to be varied with the holding time in SL two-phase region.The sample was heat-treated for shorter holding time in SL two-phase region,leading to yellow-green opaque,while for longer holding time,exhibiting in yellow-green transparent.The red-light emitting Ca3SiO7:Eu2+ could be precipitated from the original Ca2SiO4 and SiO2 crystals upon heat treatment.This strategy of a mixed-phase glass ceramics phosphor with green and red dual emissions provides a potential for the generation of white-light as combined with blue-violet LED chips.
