茚双加成C60衍生物ICBA掺杂对有机发光二极管电致发光性能的影响

【摘要】 有机电致发光器件其具有许多的优点,如:材料选择范围宽、视角宽、分辨率高、响应速度快、驱动电压低、功耗更低、制造成本便宜、更轻更薄、可做在柔性衬底上等。因为有机电致发光器件具有如此多的优点,有机电致发光技术将有可能是制作下一代超薄平板显示的主要技术。而有机电致发光的亮度和效率还有待进一步提高。改善有机电致发光器件的输运特性是提高其性能的有效途径。本文将茚双加成C60衍生物ICBA掺入聚乙烯基咔唑中作为空穴传输层,制备了一系列电致发光器件,比较了不同器件的电流-电压-发光及电流效率特性。其中ICBA的浓度变化范围为0-3wt%。实验中发现以C60衍生物ICBA掺入聚乙烯基咔唑中作为空穴传输层的电致发光器件驱动电压降低了,电流、亮度、电流效率都得到了提高。通过纯空穴型器件电流的提高证实了掺杂型的空穴传输层有利于空穴的输运。掺杂型的空穴传输层提高器件的电流和亮度源于掺杂型的空穴传输层有利于空穴的输运,效率的提高得力于复合区内更为平衡的载流子情况。掺杂型传输层有效地改善了有机电致发光器件的输运特性,提高了其性能。
【Abstract】 The effect of indene-C6o bisadduct(ICBA) doping in the hole transport layer Poly(9-vinylcarbazole)(PVK) on the electroluminescent performance of organic light-emitting diodes was investigated by changing the ICBA content from 0%to 3%.A significant improvement was observed in OLEDs when the ICBA-doped PVK were used to replace the conventional pristine one.The hole-only devices were fabricated to study the hole-transporting properties.A simple and efficient method was presented to improve the hole-mobility of organic light emitting devices by doping ICBA into PVK which facilitated the hole injection and transport,and led to a low driving voltage with a high luminance in the devices.The balanced carrier in the doped devices was better than that in other devices.This led to the improvement in the luminance and current efficiency.
