额叶和颞叶对基因和人格关系的中介作用

【摘要】 人格是人类最重要的心理特质之一,对其认知神经机制和遗传机制的研究是当前的趋势。许多研究分别发现了多巴胺系统相关基因以及大脑结构与人格有关,并且越来越多的研究认为大脑是基因对人格作用的内表型。然而,目前脑在基因和人格关系中所起的作用尚未明确。本研究就这一问题进行了探索。研究选取了331名健康大学生(140名男性),分别测查了他们多巴胺系统16个基因的98个多态位点的基因型、大脑的T1结构像、敏感性人格。采用freesurfer软件计算各个脑区的灰质体积、面积和厚度。回归分析发现多巴胺系统基因能解释敏感性人格密切15%的变异,路径分析进一步发现,右侧颞极的灰质体积和表面积、双侧额极的皮层厚度在基因和人格之间起中介作用。该结果表明,多巴胺系统基因对人格的作用部分是通过调节大脑额叶和颞叶的体积进而影响人格的。

【Abstract】 Personality is an important psychological trait of humans,and its genetic and neural basis have been the focus of recent studies.Dopamine related genes as well as brain regions have been found to be related to personality,and brain was proposed to be endophenotype between gene and personality.However,how brain links genes and personality together is not clear yet,the current study thus addressed this issue.331 healthy college students(140 male) were enrolled,and their genotype of 98 polymorphic loci on 16 dopamine related genes,structural brain image,and highly sensitive personality were measured.Freesurfer package was used to calculate the volume,area,and thickness of brain regions.Regression analysis revealed that genes account for 15%variation in personahty,path analysis indicates that volume of right temporal pole and thickness of bilateral frontal pole were the mediator between genes and personality.These results suggest that the effect of dopamine genes on personality was partly mediated by frontal and temporal lobe of the brain.
