PBRM:Position-based Reliable Multipath Routing in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

【摘要】 <正>Single path routing algorithms in mobile ad hoc network is not reliable,once the only path breaks,source node must restart a path discovery.The single path from source to destination may break for several reasons such as the nodes mobility,traffic congestion,and power depletion etc.Multipath routing algorithm is a solution to the problem above.In order to make routing more reliable in mobile ad hoc network,the PBRM(position-based reliable multipath routing) in this paper mainly takes two measures:find more than one path from source to destination,select more reliable node to forward.PBRM is high reliable by using a backup path that will take over the working load after the transmission path breaks.Besides using the backup path,PBMR also take other measure to find reliable path.It utilizes the position information to assure the next node is approaching the destination,but different from GPSR,it takes reliability into account.Nodes select the neighbor with highest stable number to forward.
