【Abstract】 The fracture reason of the valve spring in water-pump was analyzed by means of chemical analysis, SEM analysis,hardness testing and metallographic examination.The results indicated that the fracture of the valve spring was due to fatigue fracture.The surface defect(surface crack and surface dents etc) formed in processing was the main reason for the fatigue fracture of the valve spring.The preventive methods were also proposed to avoid similar events.更多还原
