高速电火花小孔加工放电间隙液固两相流场蚀除微粒分布数值模拟

【摘要】 高速电火花小孔加工中,放电间隙的蚀除微粒分布极大影响加工状态、加工速度。因此借助于流体CFD软件,对高速电火花小孔加工放电间隙流场的蚀除微粒分布进行了仿真研究。选择DPM模型追踪计算单个蚀除微粒。通过数值模拟分别研究了工作液入口压力、加工深度、电极旋转速度对间隙蚀除微粒分布的影响。模拟结果表明随加工深度增加碎屑堆积加剧,而提高工作液入口压力可减小堆积。电极旋转速度在40~120 r/min,对蚀除微粒分布影响较小。
【Abstract】 In high speed small hole EDM drill,the distribution of the debris greatly affects the machining staus and the machining efficiency.Thus,in this study,the CFD software was used to simulate the distribution of the debris in discharge gap of high speed small hole EDM drill.The Lagrangian discrete phase model(DPM) was used to follow the motion of individual debris.Through simulations,the effects of fluid pressures,drilling depth and the rotational speed of the tool on the debris concentration are obtained.The simulation results show that the debris concentration increases with the drilling depth and the increase of the fluid pressures can decrease the debris concentration.The rotational speed of the tool which ranges from 40r/min to 120r/min has little effect on the debris concentration.
