【摘要】 创新研究的主体、能力、动力以及外部环境均是具有层次性的复杂系统。但是现有的大部分文献都只在特定层次上对某一创新问题进行研究,而且每个层面上得出的结论都无法推论到其它层面;这大大限制了创新领域许多理论的发展和应用性。本文对国外已有创新研究成果分层次进行了梳理和总结,组织探究各层次研究成果间关系的基础上,进一步介绍了可用于进行多层或跨层研究的各种定量及定性研究方法。更多还原

【Abstract】 In this article, we argue that innovation is inherently a complicated system with multi-layer characteristics in its subject, capability, and dynamics. Yet little research has directly treated it as such. Research on each level has become the province of different disciplines, theories, and approaches that have evolved over time. The current challenge is to integrate innovation research on different levels as a whole. In a brief commentary on major streams of innovation research at different levels, we intend to establish a clear role for multilevel theory and research, and provide a richer and more complete perspective for innovation research by introducing and comparing quantitative and qualitative approaches which are useful to serious multilevel researchers.更多还原
