G.657光纤模场直径测量研究

【摘要】 模场直径是影响光纤接续损耗的关键因素。普通G.652光纤模场直径的测量可以按照国标要求饶一个30mm的圆圈来消除高次模的影响,从而准确测出模场直径。G.657光纤因对弯曲不敏感,简单绕圈的方法不能完全消除高次模,采用传统的方法测试模场直径误差大。为了准确测量G.657光纤的模场直径,根据国标滤除高次模的要求,提出了三种测试方法。并结合实际测试进行了验证。最后结合实际操作的可行性,提出了日常测试的方法建议。
【Abstract】 Optical fiber Mode field diameter is the key factor influencing fiber splice loss. Common G.652 optical fiber mode field diameter measurement can be in accordance with the requirements of GB.Winding a 30mm circle is enough to eliminate the effect of higher modes,so as to accurately measure the mode field diameter.G.657 optical fiber due to bending insensitive,simple coiling method can’ t completely eliminate the high-order mode,measuring the mode field diameter of using the traditional method will lead to big error.In order to accurately measure the G.657 optical fiber mode field diameter,according to the national standard filtering high-order mode requirement,three methods of testing are put forward.This three test methods are verified combined with the actual test data.Finally,a feasibility test method suggestions for daily testing is put forward.
