基于SATP和SIFT方法分析雨滴谱特征及参数关系

【摘要】 雨滴谱研究是云和降水物理的重要研究课题之一,通过雨滴谱观测能够了解云和降水的形成过程、微物理结构(如数浓度、含水量、谱分布),以及建立更加合理的雷达反射率因子和降水强度之间的经验关系等。本文主要采用Cao等[13]提出的适用于整个雨滴谱数据集的SATP方法(二参排序平均法),分析了2006年吉林省观测的雨滴谱分布特征,获取其μ-Λ关系。同时,针对单次降水过程利用SIFT方法(强度顺序滤波法)寻找2006年5月4日降水过程的Z-R关系,并得出其μ-Λ关系。最后应用上述两个μ-Λ关系分别反演雨滴谱并估测降雨量,结果表明,利用SATP法和SIFT法处理雨滴谱资料并获取μ-Λ关系是可行的,反演所得降雨量与实测吻合很好,尤其是SIFT法更具有实用性。它对联合雷达订正降水测量,有效地提高降雨率的测量准确度将有更重要的应用价值。
【Abstract】 The study of raindrop size distribution (DSD) is one of the important topics in clouds and precipitation physics.Through observations of DSD,we can learn its developing process and microphysical structure (for example,the number concentrations of raindrop,liquid water content and its size distributions),establish the more reasonable empirical correlations among radar reflectivity Z and rain rate R,etc.This paper analyses micro-structure characteristics of DSDs and determines the μ-Λ relation of the DSDs observed in Jilin Province in 2006,by means of the SATP (Sorting and Average based on Two Parameters) method which was proposed by Cao et al.(2008) and applied to a whole dataset.In addition,the Z-R relation and the μ-Λ relation in a precipitation event on 4 May 2006,are also determined by the SIFT (Sequential Intensity Filtering Technique) method that is good for analyzing small sample number of DSD in a single rainfall event.Based on the two μ-Λ relations,the Gamma distributions and then the rainfall are investigated.The results show that the methods of SATP and SIFT are feasible in processing DSD data and getting more reasonable μ-Λ relations.Its retrieval results of rain rate coincide with the observational results.Especially SIFT has more powerful and practicable skill to deal with small sample number of DSD,it has high application value in correction of R measured by radar and raising the accuracy of rainfall estimation.
