3流圆坯连铸中间包结构优化
Optimization of 3-Strand Tundish Configuration for Round Billet Continuous-casting

【摘要】 在实验室建立了3流圆坯连铸中间包流体流动的物理模型,通过测定示踪剂在中间包内的停留时间分布曲线,优化中间包结构,改善中间包流体流动特性。结果表明,原中间包结构的的最小停留时间较长,但峰值时间和平均停留时间短,导致中间包的死区大。中间包结优化后,第1、2流的最小停留时间分别增加了20.38%和67.50%,浓度峰值时间分别提高了269.70%和154.31%,平均停留时间分别增加了10.04%和12.74%,活塞流体积分率增加161.34%和135.29%,死区体积分率降低23.27%和31.81%。
【Abstract】 Physical model of fluid flow in a 3-strand tundish for round billet continuous-casting was set up in laboratory. Optimization of the tundish configuration was conducted by measuring residence time distribution curves to improve fluid flow characteristics in the tundish. It is shown from the results that the minimum residence time was longer,but the peak concentration time and average residence time were short,which results in large dead volume in this tundish. In the optimal tundish configuration,minimum residence time of strand 1 and 2 was increased by 20.38% and 67.50%,peak concentration time was enhanced by 269.0% and 154.31%,average residence time was raised by 10.04% and 12.74%,plug volume fraction was improved by 161.34% and 135.29%,and dead volume fraction was decreased by 23.27% and 31.81%,respectively.
