双辊薄带连铸布流器结构优化水模实验

【摘要】 为改善双辊薄带连铸工艺布流系统的布流效果,根据相似原理建立了1:1的双辊薄带连铸机布流系统模型,进行水力学模拟实验,研究了Ⅰ号和Ⅱ号两套布流系统在不同工艺条件下的液面波动和流体流动混合特性,进行了比较分析。研究的结果表明,在流量为8.7~14.5 m~3/h的工艺条件下,与Ⅰ号布流系统相比,Ⅱ号布流系统由于布流器的二次布流作用,熔池液面的波动显著减小,平均波高基本控制在±2.5 mm范围之内,停留时间有所增大,而对称性和可控性增强,且双辊咬合处的停留时间均匀性有较大的改善,取得了比较理想的流动状态。
【Abstract】 A 1:1 water model of a twin-roll strip caster has been set up based on the froude number and reynolds number similarity criteria to improve fluid flow condition of the metal delivery system.Level fluctuation and residence times of the molten pool of delivery systemsⅠandⅡare studied in several typical working conditions.It can be seen from these results that when flow rate changes from 8.7 m~3/h to 14.5 m~3/h,the delivery systemⅡhas a more stable liquid level than that of delivery systemⅠbecause of redelivery effect.It also can be seen that the mean waveheight in the molten pool of delivery systemⅡis controlled in the range of±2.5 mm,and the residence times slightly increase.Meanwhile,the uniformity of residence times at twin-roll nip point are improved.These all shows that delivery systemⅡobtains an ideal fluid flow condition.
