操作参数对薄板坯漏斗形结晶器内流场影响的数值模拟
Numerical Analysis of Operational Parameters Influences on Fluid Flow in the Funnel Type Mold of a Thin Slab Caster

【摘要】 近年来,为了提高产品和节约能源,薄板坯连铸技术逐渐得到广泛的应用。该技术最重要的一项任务是设计合理的流动模型,它对结晶器内最后出坯的表面和内部质量的影响很大。在不改变造型复杂的水口和漏斗型结晶器的尺寸和结构前提下,采用基于结构适体坐标网格的有限容积法,模拟分析结晶器内熔融钢液的流动形式;计算中主要考虑两个重要的操作参数,拉速和浸入式水口(SEN)的深度。通过模拟,对不同的拉速,根据钢液对结晶器窄面的冲击强度,弯月面下的钢液流动速度及回流区位置等选择最合理的水口浸入深度。这是我们进行薄板坯电磁制动模拟工作的第一步。
【Abstract】 Thin slab continuous casting technology was gradually used in recent years to improve product and save cost.One of the most important roles of this technology is to design reasonable flow patterns,which strongly affect the surface and inner qualities of final slab,in the mold.With the fixed scales and complex geometrical structures of nozzle and funnel type mold,a series of numerical simulations are made to analysis the melt steel flow patterns using finite volume method based on structured body fitted coordinate grids.Two main operational parameters,the casting speed and depth of SEN,are considered in the computations.As the results of present simulations,the reasonable SEN submergence depths corresponding to different casting speeds are suggested according to fluid flow characteristics like,flow jet impingement on narrow side of the mold,melt steel flow speed beneath the meniscus,and the recirculation region.This work is the first stage of our numerical analysis on the whole thin slab casting process with electromagnetic brake.
