绿光类水滑石/PMMA纳米复合材料的制备及在LED上的应用

【摘要】 发光二极管(LED)具有能耗低、体积小、效率高、绿色环保等优点,近年来得到广泛的关注[1,2]。本文将甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)单体插层到绿光类水滑石片层中,引发原位聚合,层间距增大至剥离,使片层与聚合物基体以纳米尺度复合,制备发绿光的PMMA/层状无机物纳米复合材料。利用红外光谱、X-射线固体粉末衍射、透射电镜、荧光光谱等对其结构和性能进行表征。研究表明,绿光类水滑石片层充分剥离分散于PMMA基质中。将类水滑石/PMMA纳米复合材料与InGaN芯片组合制作LED,能改善现有LED技术中由于材料稳定性差,涂敷时荧光粉沉降等造成的空间颜色分布不均等问题[3]。该聚合物/无机物纳米复合材料有望作为性能优异LED绿光材料并获得应用。

【Abstract】 Light emitting diodes(LEDs) have attracted much attention in recent years for their low power consumption, compact in size, high efficiency, environment-friendly and other features. A green-emitting polymer/layered inorganic nanocomposite was synthesized through intercalation in situ polymerization. The structure and properties of the resulted nanocomposite were characterized by FT-IR, X-ray diffraction, TEM, fluorescence spectrum, etc. The results indicate that the brucite-like layers of hydrotalcite were completely exfoliated in PMMA matrix. The nanocomposites are expected to resolve some problems of the conventional LED technology, such as the poor thermal resistance and the spatial color uneven distribution. This study provides useful information for the application of the polymer/inorganic nanocomposites in LED.
