【Abstract】 In an acetate buffer solution, two polytungstoarsenates with sandwich-type and boat-like structures functionalized by carboxyethyltin groups, namely Na10K7[H{Sn(CH2)2COO}4·(W4O16)·(B-α-AsW9O33)2]·27H2O(Fig.1) have been obtained through the reaction between an estertin precursor Cl3Sn(CH2)2COOCH3 and trivacant Keggin-type [B-AsW9O33] units, and isolated by fractional crystallization.
