【Abstract】 About 30 types of novel composite nanofiltration{NF)membrane were prepared by coating and cross-linking,where the water-soluble chitins derivatives as the active layer material,the polysulfone(PSF)UF membrane or polyacrylonitrile(PAN)UF membrane as the support layer,and the cross-linking agent using epichlorohydrin(ECH),toluene diisocyanate(TDI),sulfuric acid,and mixed anhydride etc.,respectively.The results indicated that the resulting membrane contained the active layermaterial of chitosan or querternized chitosan was positively charged but the other membranes were negative charged.The molecular weight cut-off(MWCO)varied from 210Da to900Da.The electrolyte solutions(1000mg/l) retention sequence of R(Na2SO4)>R(NaCl)>R(MgSO4)>R(MgCl2) for the negative charged membrane.On the contrary,the salt solution(1000mg/l) retention sequence of R(MgCl2)>R(MgSO4)>R(NaCl)>R(Na2SO4) or R(MgCl2)>R(NaCl)>R(MgSO4)>R(Na2S04) for the positively charged membrane.The resulting membranes were used for treatment wastewater including life wastewater,the fermentation effluent from awine factory< the textile wastewater< the wastrwater from the production of sodium alginate and pretreatment of seawater desalination.
