【Abstract】 The effect of reactively formed graft and block copolymers on compatibilization of PS/PA6(50/50) blends has been investigated by observing morphology.Phthalic anhydride terminated polystyrene(PS-b-anh),styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer(SMA) and styrene-(3-isopropenyl-a,a-dimethylbenzyl isocyanate)(PS-co-TMI) were compared as a compatibilizer at the loadings of 1 wt%,5 wt%,10 wt%.It was found that the reactive block copolymer PS-b-anh is the most effective compatibilizer.Different reactive group of graft copolymers had little effect on the compatibilization efficiency in this polymeric blends.
