氧化硅颗粒原位引发制备高强度吸水材料的研究

【摘要】 <正>吸水性树脂是一类新型高分子功能材料,它具有吸收自身重量几十甚至上千倍水分的能力,即使施加外界压力也很难将其吸收的水分分离开来,因而被广泛应用于个人卫生用品、工农业生产、土木建筑和食品医疗等领域。本文试图通过无机粒子表面改性的手段,利用’graftfrom’的方法将吸水性高聚物长链接枝到SiO2颗粒表面,得到一种有机无机杂化吸水材料并探讨颗粒浓度、接枝分子链长度对产品溶胀性和力学性能的影响(Fig.1)。

【Abstract】 This paper described a versatile and facile method to synthesize a flexible hybrid hydrogel by ’grafting from’ polymerization on surface of modified silica particles.The silica nanoparticles(SN) were initially modified byγ-methacryloxypropyl trimethoxy silane,then the block copolymers poly(acrylamide)-block-poly(ethylene glycol)methyl ether(PAM-b-mPEG) were covalently grafted onto the surface of nanoparticles by ’grafting from’ polymerization initiated by ammonium persulfate.It was found that the nanoparticles were encapsulated by polymer chains by core-shell structure and acting as physical crosslinked points.The hydrogels exhibited excellent mechanical properties compared to the conventional chemcial crosslinking ones,they could endure as high as 5.83 Mpa stress and elonged to 1430%at the water content of 85%and the appearance can be recovered after the relase of stress.
