Polypharmacology Research of Tougu Xiaotong Capsule Based on Network Features

【摘要】 In order to study the polypharmacological mechanism of Tougu Xiaotong Capsule (TGXTC) ,a Traditional Chinese Medicine recipe, network features obtained from TGXTC ligand-target interaction network and drug ligand-target interaction network were analyzed by Cytoscape 2.6.3 software platform.Both TGXTC ligand-target interaction network and drug ligand-target interaction network are similar in the interaction profiles and network features,including degree distribution,betweenness centrality,closeness centrality,characteristic path length and network heterogeneity.In addition, both the networks belong to scale-free network. The molecular mechanism of multi-drugs, multi-targets and multi-pathways is revealed, and TGXTC is shown to be an role of polypharmacology in the treatment of osteoarthritis(OA) by traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
