辐射双曲余弦高斯光束的光源物理条件研究

【摘要】 基于标量光场的衍射相干理论及部分相干光束模型,分别得到了双曲余弦高斯(CHG)光束在远场衍射条件下的交叉谱密度函数及远场辐射光强度的表示式。利用二阶平面光源激发光束的理论模型,对光源辐射CHG光束的物理条件进行了研究。理论结果证实,辐射产生CHG光束的参数条件与光源相干性强弱有很大的关系。当光源平面所处空间满足近似相干特性时,辐射CHG光束的条件与产生基膜高斯光束相同。当光源平面所处空间满足部分相干或近似非相干特性时,辐射CHG光束的条件与产生高斯谢尔模型光束相同。理论结果同时表明,CHG光束余弦参量的变化对构成光源参数条件无任何影响。本文结论对于调制CHG光束及光源参数设计等研究工作具有潜在的应用价值。
【Abstract】 Based on the coherence theory of the diffracted scalar optical field and the model for partially coherent beams,analytical expressions for the cross-spectral density and radiation intensity in the far zone are derived,respectively.Utilizing the theoretical model of radiation from secondary planar sources,physical conditions for sources that radiating a cosh-Gaussian beam are investigate.Analytical results demonstrate that,parametric conditions for generating a cosh-Gaussian beam strongly depend on the coherence property of sources.When almost coherence property is satisfied in the spatial domain of the source plane,conditions for generating cosh-Gaussian beams are the same as that for fundamental Gaussian beams.When partially coherence or almost incoherence property is satisfied in the spatial source plane,conditions for generating cosh-Gaussian beams are the same as that for Gaussian-Schell model beams.Other than these,results also indicate that,variance of cosine parameters has no influence on source conditions for generating such beams.Results in this paper may provide potential applications for some investigations such as modulations of cosh-Gaussian beams and designs of source beam parameters.
