机织复合材料双球型冲压的有限元模拟

【摘要】 由于机织复合材料高比强度、高比模量和低成本的特点使其相对于传统材料具有明显的结构优势。冲压是机织复合材料成型最有效的方法之一。本文利用基于连续介质力学的有限元法对机织复合材料织物的冲压过程进行了模拟仿真。作者前期建立了一个非正交本构模型来描述机织复合材料在大变形下由于经纱和纬纱之间角度变化所引起的非线性各向异性材料行为,该模型利用初始纤维方向和变形梯度来追踪机织复合材料变形过程中的纤维再定向。利用双球形基准冲压模拟装置对平纹机织复合材料进行常温下的冲压成型模拟仿真,编写了ABAQUS/Standard中的用户材料子程序来描述机织复合材料的材料属性。最后提取了这一平纹机织复合材料变形后的边界轮廓、缩进量以及剪切角并与实验结果进行对比。结果表明:机织复合材料冲压成型模拟分析结果与实验结果具有良好的一致性。
【Abstract】 Textile composites made of woven fabrics have demonstrated as a valuable alternative to traditional materials due to their structural advantages for providing high-strength,low-weight products. Stamping is one of the most effective ways to form textile composites in industry. The current research presents a fully continuum mechanics-based approach for stamping simulation of textile fiber reinforced composites by using finite element ( FE) method. A previously developed non-orthogonal constitutive model is used to represent the anisotropic mechanical behavior of textile composites under large shear deformation during stamping. In this model,initial fiber orientation and deformation gradient is used to track the reorientation of fibers during deformation. Simulation is performed on a balanced plain weave composite over a benchmark double dome device. A user material subroutine UMAT for the woven composite has been developed for commercial FE package ABAQUS /Standard to implement the algorithm. The main advantage of this approach lies in its ease in execution whilst computationally effective. Simulation results show good agreement with experimental output in terms of a number of parameters selected for comparison.
