电磁波在ENG-MNG界面处的隧穿特性
The tunneling properties of electromagnetic wave at the interface of ENG-MNG pair

【摘要】 单负材料包括负介电常数材料(ε<0,μ>0(ENG))和负磁导率材料(ε>0,μ<0(MNG))。两种单负材料均不支持电磁波的传播,然而由两种不同性质的单负材料组成的界面结构在一定条件下却具有隧穿模。本文通过左右手复合传输线(CRLH TLs)实现了一维的单负材料,并研究了两种不同单负材料组成的界面结构的隧穿模特性。实验与分析结果表明在隧穿结构的界面处引入一正折射率材料可以改变界面模的隧穿频率,由两种单负材料构成的三明治结构如ENG-MNG-ENG具有双通道滤波特性。
【Abstract】 The single negative(SNG) materials include(anegative(ENG) materials with(?) and(?)0 and(?)negative(MNG) materials with(?)0 and(?)0.SNG materials don’t support propagation waves,however,the tunneling mode can be formed at the interface of two different SNG materials under some condition.In this paper,SNG materials were physically realized by using composite right/left-handed transmission lines(CRLH TLs),the tunneling properties of the interface mode were measured and analyzed by cascading ENG and MNG materials together.The experimental results indicate that the positive-index materials embedded in the interface can change the tunneling frequency,and the double-channeled phenomena exist in the sandwich structure such as ENG-MNG-ENG composed of SNG materials.
