基于查找表的宽带射频功率放大器动态非线性预补偿技术

【摘要】 本文提出了一种基于查找表的宽带射频功率放大器动态非线性预补偿技术。该技术使用查找表来补偿射频功放的静态非线性,同时采用一个基于有限脉冲响应(FIR)的弱非线性滤波器来补偿射频功放的记忆效应。这个弱非线性FIR滤波器由两个具有不同输入的并联的线性FIR滤波器组成。本文使用一个3GPP-FDD WCDMA信号作为测试信号,采用一个具有45分贝毫瓦峰值输出的L波段推挽砷化镓场效应管功放来验证该动态非线性预补偿技术的性能。实验验证结果证明了所提出的预补偿技术可以有效地补偿射频功放的动态非线性。
【Abstract】 This paper proposes Look-Up-Table(LUT)based dynamic nonlinearity pre-compensation techniques for wideband RF power amplifiers.In this nonlinearity compensation scheme,two LUTs are used to compensate the static nonlinearities,and a finite impulse response(FIR)based weak nonlinear filter is utilized to remove the memory effects of the power amplifier.This weak nonlinear FIR filter comprises two FIRs in parallel with different inputs.The performance evaluation of this pre-compensation technique is carried out on an L-band push-pull GaAs FET 45-dBm peak-envelope-power amplifier using 3GPP-FDD WCDMA signals.The validation results in spectrum domain demonstrate noticeable superiority of the proposed weak nonlinear FIR filter in suppressing the memory effects in comparison to a traditional FIR filter.
