【Abstract】 OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical infection and antibiotic resistance of Burkholderia cepacia. METHODS A total of 87 B.cepacia strains were isolated f rom 2004 to 2010.Antibiotic susceptibility testing were carried out using K-B method.the patient s’ data were analyzed. RESULTES Sputum was the main source of B.cepacia(89.9%).ICU was the common department(53.6%). Most B.cepacia isolates showed resistance to most of the antibiotics tested.However,more than 60% of the isolates were susceptibility to meropenem(81.6%),piperacillin-tazobactam(80%),ceftazidime (67.1%) and levofloxacin(65.5%),chloramphenicol(68%). CONCLUSION B.cepacia was highly resistant to most antibiotics.Treatment of B.cepacia infection should be based on the results of susceptibility test.更多还原
