基于振动和电流信号的数控车床刀具寿命实时监控的研究

【摘要】 数控机床切削刀具的更换时间通常是根据刀具使用的统计资料来确定的,然而由于制造过程的复杂性和多样性,刀具的使用寿命分布比较离散,使许多刀具被提前或置后更换,造成刀具不必要的浪费或加工质量问题。本研究通过用涂层硬质合金刀具切削45钢试图找出刀具振动信号和电机电流信号与刀具磨损之间的关系,在不同切削条件下进行了一系列实验,其结果表明,振动信号和电机电流信号都能够用来监控刀具的磨损状态,以此可作为更换刀具的依据。

【Abstract】 One of the most important strategies employed to establish the time for cutting tool replacement in CNC machine tools is based on statistical data.However,due to machining processes complexity and unpredictability,tool life scattering is very wide.Therefore,many tools are replaced either in condition to be used or after the production of imperfect parts.The main goal this work is to correlate vibration signal variation and motor current variation with tool wear and tool failure when continuous turning 45 steel using coated carbide inserts.A series of turning tests were conducted under different cutting conditions.The results show that both vibration signal and motor current can be employed to monitor tool life when turning.
