OTDM网与WDM网接口间的码型转换技术研究

【摘要】 提出了一种用半导体光放大器(SOA)和光带通滤波器(OBPF)构成的全光码型转换器。理论上从SOA的交叉相位调制(XPM)和交叉增益调制(XGM)角度分析了码型转换的原理,得出了码型转换取决于光带通滤波器的3dB带宽以及探测光中心波长相对于光带通滤波器中心波长失谐量的结论,实验测得3dB带宽为0.17nm,失谐量△λ=0.62nm。最后通过仿真实现了光时分复用(OTDM)网中10Gbit/s数据信号全光归零(RZ)码到波分复用(WDM)网中非归零(NRZ)码的转换。
【Abstract】 A all-optical format converter is proposed by using a semiconductor optical amplifier(SOA) and optical band-pass filter (OBPF).The operation principle is analyzed with respect to the cross-phase modulation(XPM) and cross-gain modulation (XGM) in the SOA.The conversion results depend on the 3dB bandwidth of the OBPF,which is 0.17nm in our experiment,and the OBPF detuning as respect to the probe carrier,Δγ=0.62nm.Finally,all-optical RZ-to-NRZ data format conversion is demonstrated at10Gbit/s in the optical time division multiplexing(OTDM) networks by simulation.
