基于Google Earth的电子病历渐进导航与可视化方法

【摘要】 广义的电子病历涵盖了患者终身的健康数据,这些数据种类繁多、形态各异。可视化技术是辅助医护人员从患者海量医疗数据中提取有效信息,进行综合分析的最直接途径。在众多导航与可视化系统中,Google Earth具有将大量信息由粗到细的渐进可视化的能力,为电子病历的可视化和导航提供了很好的技术基础。本文综合阐述了现有的电子病历可视化与导航方法,并指出其中需要改进之处;而后分析了Google Earth的组成和功能,并介绍了它对于大量信息进行渐进导航与可视化的方法,及其对电子病历可视化与导航的作用;同时将电子病历可视化与导航方法与GoogleEarth技术进行结合,得到电子病历的细节等级的分层;最后利用GoogleEarth及其API实现该方法的软件原型。

【Abstract】 Wide-sensed concept of electronic health record(EHR) contains health data within whole life of a patient,with a characteristic of variety in data types.Visualization is an effective technology for clinicians to extract information from huge amount of health record data and to analyze synthetically,thus EHR visualization and navigation is becoming a research focus.Among various kinds of information navigation and visualization systems,Google Earth is an excellent one,which has ability of navigating information from far and coarse into close and fine,which provides a promising tool for EHR visualization and navigation.Several modern EHR visualization and navigation method is discussed in this paper,such as time-line based and anatomical structure based methods.Then we analyzed components and function of Google Earth,with introduction of implementing its ability of progress navigation & visualization in EHR.Considering about possible improving of these methods,we made analogy with the way that Google Earth presents geographic information and EHR visualization & navigation method and find it a promising method to divide EHR data into hierarchical model according to different levels of detail(as Google Earth did),so that navigation from summarized level to detailed level of EHR could be achieved.Then we designed this visualization and navigation method and developed model software using Google Earth with its API.
