转vip3基因作物:一种治理抗性害虫的新策略

【摘要】 转Bt基因作物在全球应用已近15年,是应用最成功的一种外源基因,随着转基因作物种植面积的扩大,Bt抗性害虫的产生成为一个严峻的问题。研究发现,苏云金芽孢杆菌的营养生长阶段可产生一种新的毒素,即vip蛋白,vip3与已知的Bt毒蛋白没有序列同源性和结构相似性,对十多种鳞翅目害虫具有毒杀作用,具有更广泛的抗虫谱,尤其可毒杀小地老虎等对Bt非敏感害虫,是防治抗性害虫及扩大抗虫谱的一种新的策略。目前,国内外已经开始对这一新型抗虫基因用于作物转基因育种中,可望于近期获得突破性的进展。

【Abstract】 Bt(Bacillus thuringiensis)gene was the most successful tagert one which had been used in transgenic crops for about 15 years in the world.With the increasing use of Bt transgenic crops, insect resistance is likely to become an serious problem.Some research showed that vegetative growth stage of B.thuringiensis can produce a new toxin,i.e.vegatative insecticidal protein (vip).There are no sequence homology and structural similarity between vip3 and Bt toxic protein. On more than 10 kinds of toxic to lepidopteran pests,vip3 protein has a broader spectrum of insectresistantce, particular to the black cutworm and other Bt non-sensitive pests.vip3 transgenic crops become a new strategy to control Bt resistant pests and broaden insecticidal spectrum.At present, domestic and international study has already begun on this new type insect-resistant genes for transgenic crop breeding,which will achieve a breakthrough in the near future.
