【Abstract】 This paper studied the accumulation and the pollution risks of heavy metals in farmland soil after the amendment with sewage sludge. Furtherly the soils were extracted to determine the different chemical speciation of heavy metals and to reveal the distribution of them in the soil profiles, which could be used for the safe application of sewage sludge in agriculture. The results showed:Along with the years of planting, total Cu、Zn、Pb and Cd had increased a little in soil upper layer(0-20 cm), but no more changes were found in the soil layer of 20-40 cm. There were no significant changes of the distribution of different chemical speciation of heavy metals in soil under different fertilization in all growth periods. Residual speciation was main speciation for all four heavy metals, and dilute extraction state of Cd was higher.
