一种土遗址保护传感器网络轻量级数据融合协议

【摘要】 无线传感器网络(WSN)在大型土遗址环境监测中,能量消耗是其面临的首要问题。如何对采集的数据进行融合,减少数据传输量成为延长网络寿命的关键。根据土遗址环境变化特征,提出了一种轻量级数据融合协议LDAP(Lightweight Data Aggregation Protocol),在TinyOS-2.0上实现,并利用crossbow的MICAz节点部署在实际的土遗址环境监测中,实验结果表明,该算法能够减少超过40%的数据传输量,有效地延长了WSN网络寿命。

【Abstract】 In the application of large-scale Ancient Site protection, it requires to continuously monitor the ambient light, temperature, humidity and so on. However, it is very important to extend the WSN’s whole lifetime as long as possible, because it is impractical to frequently replace the nodes’ battery in the protected areas. The key point to prolong the network lifetime is to aggregate the collected data and reduce the number of transferring messages. A Lightweight Data Aggregation Protocol (LDAP) based on the characteristics of the environmental changes in the Ancient Site is proposed in this paper, which has been implemented in the Lab with a dozen of MICAz motes and deployed in the real ancient sites environment. The result shows that LDAP is effective in reducing the number of transferring data and satisfies the real application requirements.
