基于多算法比较的多叶准直器叶片序列优化

【摘要】 目的:通过具体算例下Galvin、Siochi、Bortfeld三种调强算法输出结果的比较,研究不同算法对多叶准直器叶片序列优化效果。方法:建立基于这三种方法的叶片序列输出程序,比较各种算法输出的总子野数目和总机器跳数。结果:针对最大值相同的15×15强度矩阵构成的算例1与算例2的计算结果表明:算例1,Siochi算法治疗时间最短,光子利用效率最高;算例2,Galvin算法治疗时间最短,Siochi算法或Bortfeld算法光子利用效率最高。结论:这种采用三种叶片序列算法总子野个数和总机器跳数结果比较来改进临床多叶准直器叶片序列输出的方法,可以获得病人治疗时间较短或光子利用率较高的子野分割效果,是一种有效的叶片序列优化策略,在治疗计划系统优化中有广阔的应用前景。
【Abstract】 Objective:A leaf sequencing optimization method that compared the results of typical clinical cases based on three algorithms of multileaf collimator (MLC) leaf sequencing of intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) was presented. Methods:The IMRT leaf sequencing calculation program based on Galvin, Bortfeld, Siochi algorithms was constructed. The output of the leaf sequencing program were the number of segment and the total number of monitor unit. Results: The leaf sequencing program could produce highly conformal dose distributions within a clinically acceptable computation time. Siochi algorithm could yield better result on Example 1 while Galvin algorithm yielded better results on example 2 though both intensity maps had the same intensity level and maximum value. Conclusions:This represented a unique tool for optimizing the leaf sequencing out of multileaf collimator that can yield shorter treatment time and higher utilization of photos by comparing with the total number of monitor units and number of segments of existed three typical algorithms. It was an effective strategy and could be applied in radiation therapy field.
