神龙一号装置用于中子共振测温可行性初步研究

【摘要】 神龙一号装置可产生高强度的脉冲白光中子,为研究其用于中子共振测温的可行性,本文采用MC软件先模拟计算了神龙一号装置采用铀靶产生的光中子通过1cm厚的共振样品(含182W)的透射谱,可从透射谱中明显看到182W的4.155eV和21.06eV两个共振下陷。然后根据洛斯阿拉莫斯实验室进行中子共振测温的实验条件,模拟计算了神龙一号装置在该条件下的中子透射谱,通过与洛斯阿拉莫斯的实验结果比较,证明从理论上讲神龙一号装置是可以用于中子共振测温的。
【Abstract】 The temperature measurement using neutron resonance spectrum can be used for temperature measurement of shockwave, but the high intensity pulsed neutron source is needed. This paper calculates the neutron transmission spectrum through resonance sample(contained 182W) ,which produced by the current electron beam of Dragon Ⅰimpacting uranium target. The 4.155eV and 21.06eV resonance drop of 182W can be seen from the transmission spectrum. Then ,according to the experiment condition of Los Alamos, the neutron resonance spectrum of Dragon Ⅰ have been computed. Dragon Ⅰ can be used for temperature measurement using neutron spectrum, comparing this simulated result and the experiment result of Los Alamos.
