【摘要】 随着Internet的发展,DNS服务越来越重要,其性能直接影响互连网应用的访问速度。本文基于PlanetLab平台,研究校园网DNS服务的分布式测试技术,可利用遍布全球的1000多个PlanetLab节点对DNS服务进行性能测试,以得到真实Internet环境下的校园网DNS服务测试结果,用于调整DNS服务策略,提高基础服务能力。论文中研究了PlanetLab平台构件的远程部署方法,提出了一种基于PlanetLab平台的DNS slice构件的分布式部署方法。根据PlanetLab平台接口开发标准,开发了slice构件模块,可设定测试目标地址、测试点数量、发送频率、持续时间、测试协议(IPv4或IPv6)等参数,对DNS服务器进行全球范围的分布式测试。更多还原

【Abstract】 DNS service becomes more and more important with the rapid development of Internet.The performance of DNS service directly affects Internet application accessing.In this paper,we present a new method to distributed test the performance of DNS server in campus network based on over 1000 PlanetLab nodes around the world.We study how to deploy remote modules on the PlanetLab platform and describes the methods of deploying DNS slice module based on PlanetLab platform.According to the interface development standards of PlanetLab,providing a distributed method of testing the performance of DNS server.User can set a target DNS server address,number of test nodes,frequency of sending messages,duration time,and protocol(IPv4 or IPv6) etc.,distributed test the performance of DNS server on the global scale based on PlanetLab platform.更多还原
