钛材料表面改性新技术的开发及应用研究

【摘要】 成功研发出能显著增强钛及钛合金耐磨耐蚀性能的经济有效、环境友好表面改性新技术—改进表面热处理(PTO)技术.用扫描电镜观察分析表面形貌和截面组织,用浸泡试验和盐雾试验评价材料的耐蚀性,用磨损试验评价材料的抗咬合能力.结果表明,PTO处理在钛表面形成了均匀致密、结合牢固的高性能防护层,其表面硬度增加了近5倍、抗咬合能力提高了3个量级;未经PTO处理钛试样在沸腾5%盐酸溶液的腐蚀速度为0.932mg/cm~2·h,而PTO处理试样未检测到腐蚀失重,PTO处理钛表面层在沸腾20%盐酸溶液中的寿命是等离子氮化处理的约40倍.

【Abstract】 A novel,cost-effective and environment-friendly surface modification technique,namely promoted thermal oxidation(PTO),has successfully been developed,which can dramatically enhance corrosion and wear resistance of titanium.Investigations on both wear and corrosion resistance have been carried out by anti-scuffing,immersion and salt spray tests.The PTO treatment can drastically enhance the anti-scuffing capacity of titanium by three orders of magnitude over that of the untreated material.Corrosion rate of the untreated titanium in boiling 5%HCl solution was 0.932 mg/cm~2?h,whereas no corrosion weight loss was detected for the PTO-treated material.The lifetime of the protective surface layer of the PTO-treated titanium in boiling 20%HCl solution is about 40 times that of the PN-treated titanium.Characterisation of the PTO-treated surface layers,and surface morphology of the corroded samples was performed using scanning electron microscopy(SEM).
