广西钦州湾-防城港潮间带表层沉积物黏土矿物分布特征及制约

【摘要】 对广西钦州湾-防城港潮间带表层沉积物中的黏土矿物分布特征和制约因素进行了研究。结果表明,研究区高岭石(平均59%)和伊利石(平均35%)是主要组成矿物,只含有很低含量的蒙脱石(平均5%)和绿泥石(平均2%)。钦州湾-防城港与南海周边其他主要物源如红河、湄公河、珠江、台湾、长江等相比,更富含高岭石,而贫绿泥石和伊利石,但总体上与珠江的比较接近。在空间分布上,高岭石的含量沿防城港-钦州湾-三娘湾方向有逐渐增加的趋势,而伊利石变化相反。这和附近陆地上原岩分布特征一致,暗示了流域和近岸原岩对海岸带沉积物黏土矿物组成的控制。在粉砂质潮间带剖面,从高潮滩-中潮滩-低潮滩,伊利石含量快速降低,而高岭石含量快速升高。而在泥质潮间带剖面,四种黏土矿物含量变化都不明显,说明了水动力条件对黏土矿物分异的重要控制作用。

【Abstract】 We here systematically studied the distribution characters and constrains of clay minerals in the surface sediments of the intertidal zone along Qinzhou Bay-Fangcheng Port of Guangxi Province.Our results suggest that the sediments mainly consists of kaolinite(average 59%) and illite(average 35%),only with minor amounts of smectite (average 5%) and chlorite(average 2%).In comparison with the other sediment sources around the South China Sea including the Red River,Mekong River,Pearl River,Taiwan and Yangtze River etc.,the sediments from the study area have higher contents of kaolinite and lower contents of chlorite and illite.In any case,it is relatively close to those from the Pearl River.On spatial distribution,the percentage of kaolinite shows a general increasing trend along Fangcheng Port-Qinzhou Bay-Sanniang Bay.In contrast,the illite displays a decreasing trend.This corresponds well with the distribution of parent rocks in nearby continents,suggesting the provenance constrains of parent rocks in drainage area and near-shore.In the sections of intertidal with silty substance,the contents of illite rapidly decrease while kaolinite quickly increases.In the sections of intertidal with mud substance,four kinds of clay minerals show no clear variation,implying the significant influence of hydrodynamic conditions on clay mineral segregation in the marine environment.
