【Abstract】 The Marxism studies abroad has some new tendencies after the collapse of the East European Communist Group and the Soviet Union.The first,the problem of socialism becomes the most important one and get much attention.And this has been reflected in several collections concerning the problem of socialism.Most scholars believe that the collapse of the East European Communist Group and the Soviet Union does not mean the death of socialism. They make effort to study the cause of that gigantic change,the economic,social and culture problems of capitalism,and the reformation of the socialism of soviet mode.The second is to make certain serious introspection to Marxism itself.Some fundamental principles of Marxism have been emphasized under the new conditions in order to reduce or eliminate the puzzles aroused among people in many countries.The Communist Party of Vietnam tried to answer the following four questions:a)Can Vietnam get into Socialism without the full development of Capitalism?b)Can the theory of surplus value still be useful today?c)Does today’s working-class still has the historical responsibility designed by Marxism?d)Does this gigantic change mark an new epoch in history?The Communist Party of France advocated a theory of so- called"neo-communism"and the new developing modes in France. Though still believing in the communism,the Communist Party of Russia had no longer used it to make their analysis of capitalism.
